Base salary for this position will be$17,887 per month ($214,641 per annum) commensurate with experienceand qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S Department of Laborprevailing wage determination. Please note that only compensationprovided by the University is included in University benefitdetermination and calculations. Compensation provided by UWPhysicians (UWP) provides eligibility for separate benefits offeredby that organization.

Other compensationassociated with this position includes a minimum guaranteedincentive for the first two years of $13,000 per quarter ($52,000per annum) through UW Physicians. The incentive is based on bothproduction and quality metrics, with guaranteed incentive pay beingbased on achieving up to the 45th percentile of production duringthe period of record; should the provider exceed this level ofproduction, they will receive the higher productivity earnedincentive instead.

Physicianswould be appointed as Clinical Instructors at the UW School ofMedicine. Clinical Instructors hold annual appointments that alignwith a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may bereappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-monthservice periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-monthperiod (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month isavailable for paid time off. In addition to providing primary care,this role will include some clinical teachingresponsibilities.

Qualifications

Candidatesmust have earned an MD or DO, or foreign equivalent, completedresidency, and should be board certified or board eligible inFamily Medicine or Internal Medicine. Candidates will need topossess or obtain a valid Washington State medical license and DEAcert.
