What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interventional Gastroenterologist position at UW Medicine Valley Medical Center?
Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Interventional Gastroenterologist tojoin our clinic in our collaborative network where you will have easy access to system-wide support as you work alongside a highly motivated and skilled Gastroenterology team. We provide patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse population of patients and we are building a new state of the art endo center.
About the position :
- Performs interventional GI procedures as a variety of interventional GI procedures, including ERCP, EUS, and advanced endoscopic techniques.
- Also provides general gastroenterology care
- 4-day workweek
- Call - rotated among the hospitalist and 6 other providers. Some days / nights mix of weekdays (M-Th) and weekends (Fri - Sun) GI Hospitalist works part-time is days only; Inpatient responsibility is on-call only.
- 3 other ERCP providers share ERCP call
- 2.5-3 days / week of endo
- Strong Advanced Practitioner Provider support
- Department 7 physicians, 4 ARNPs, 1 GI Hospitalist, 11 MA's and 1 triage RN

TOTAL COMPENSATION $430,000 - $500,000
Amounts listed may include productivity, quality incentives, call stipend and other incentives as applicable to the position.
