The Department of Urology at the School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) is seeking an individual to provide day-to-day operational support to Dr. Kristina Penniston, PI of the U24 CAIRIBU Interactions Core in the Department of Urology. - 20% Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations
- 20% Serves as a first point of contact for individuals and groups, provides basic organizational information via phone, in person and through other communication mediums, and routes more complex inquiries to the appropriate entities
- 20% Collects, analyzes, and prepares various communication materials from established sources utilizing technology mediums
- 20% Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures under general supervision
- 20% Maintains established methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Qualtrics
- Proficiency in using PubMed for literature searches
- Strong writing and oral communication skills
- Excellent spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills
- Strong organizational and management abilities
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, take initiative, and be proactive
- Familiarity with the scientific research process (urology experience a plus)
- WordPress or similar website content management software
- Experience with scientific writing
- Experience using REDCap
- Experience with task manager systems, scrum boards, and other organizational management tools
