Job Summary:
The Data Manager is responsible for the accurate collection, maintenance, and reporting of student information using North Carolina’s PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS). This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements and supports school leadership in maintaining data integrity across multiple platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate student records in PowerSchool/Infinite Campus, including but not limited to enrollments, withdrawals, transfers, demographics, attendance, and scheduling.

Serve as the PowerSchool/Infinite Campus contact for the schools.

Run/Audit required state reports, including PMR (Principal’s Monthly Report), SAR (Student Attendance Report), and other compliance reports.

Support staff (e.g., front office, teachers, and admin) on correct data entry procedures and use of PowerSchool/Infinite Campus.

Collaborate with testing, EC, ESL, CTE, and accountability coordinators to ensure program data is entered and reported accurately.

Monitor and reconcile discrepancies in data and reporting; assist with audits and data reviews.

Serve as the District registrar, and work closely with the receptionists, and district-level SIS Coordinator.

Maintain confidentiality and security of student records and personally identifiable information (PII).

Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and compliance needs of the district.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Must have PRIOR experience working in a school office AND with PowerSchool and/or Infinite Campus.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and general computer systems.
