What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Systems - Business Administrator position at Uxbridge Public Schools?
The position is responsible for maintaining the district information systems, troubleshooting problems, and updating processes and reports as necessary by using software and support from the district information systems.
Provides support to the Director of Finance in administrative duties including calendar management, annual budget preparation, and website updates.
The goal is to maximize the value of the district’s data-driven processes and support both district and school missions while collaborating with school administration and staff. This position will serve the district (PK-12 grades), with a focus on management, organization, and consistent access to data sets and business support.
A. Information systems Assistant:
Organize and manage all state reporting: SIMS, EPIMS, SCS, SSDR, CRDC, School Attending, etc. including end-of-year procedures for all information systems.
Oversee Information systems operations between all school buildings and the central office.
Direct and coordinate the operations of all information management system activities including, but not limited to:
Supporting master scheduling, assisting with generating report cards/progress reports, and ensuring coordination and flow among multiple district databases and resources.
Supervise and provide training and support on information management systems.
B. Business Assistant:
Organizing and processing all building use forms
Processing School Choice Students Claim form
Approving and processing PreK financial assistance applications
Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing enrollment data information and trends including NESDEC and monthly enrollment reports
Coordinates the TEC Cooperative Purchasing for the district.
Coordinates bus transportation for the district, including in-house OOD students and ESY transportation, Norfolk Aggie and Tri-County
