Role and Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and year‐end financial statements/reporting packages
- Complete monthly property billings
- Maintain Yardi for all updates to include rents, move-outs, CAM rates, new tenants, etc.
- Perform a wide variety of accounting analyses.
- Analyze various transactions and identify appropriate accounting treatment
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Reconcile monthly bank and loan statements to the general ledger and subledger schedules
- Assist with complex property accounts payable
- Assist with recording electronic tenant payments received
- Prepare common area maintenance and real estate tax reconciliations
- Reconcile and allocate intercompany costs amongst different properties monthly
- Assist with preparation and upload of annual operating budgets
- Maintains open communication with accounting team and property managers
- Has a “can do” productive self‐motivated attitude, demonstrates initiative and suggests improved processes.
- Assist management with special projects and other tasks as assigned.

Experience
- Bachelors in Accounting (preferred)
- 2-5 years commercial real estate accounting experience (preferred)
- At least 2years of general accounting experience.
- Experience with Yardi or other real estate accounting software (preferred)
