Description:

The Senior Software Developer position within the Shared Application Services/New York Business

Express (SAS/NYBE) Portal team will work with a group of developers to implement the Office of

Cannabis (OCM) Online Applications. Using skills as noted in the mandatory/requested qualifications, the successful candidate will aid in developing an efficient application and approval process for the citizens of New York State who use the NYBE portal to start, run, and grow their business.

Responsibilities:

• Work with business analysts to understand requirements.
• Design, author, and develop business rules based on requirements using Oracle Policy Automation (OPA).
• OPA rule/data modeling including testing and debugging.
• Forms development based on rule creation in OPA.
• Build and deploy using standard procedures including the Oracle Policy Automation Hub.
• Design and develop workspaces, custom objects, and custom reports in Oracle Service Cloud
• Work with a team of developers to analyze and troubleshoot issues in the environment.
• Create documentation and share knowledge with team members.
• Provide training to staff on any learned new technologies Aid other developers, pair programming where needed
  

Required/Preferred Skills

• 84 months experience architecting business rules and developing systems using Oracle Policy Automation (OPA), including deployment, testing, automation hub, modeling, and debugging on projects.
• 84 Months of experience working with business analysts analyzing requirements and creating test scripts and Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) rule bases
• 60 months of development experience with .NET, PHP or related programming experience
• 60 Months of development experience in Oracle Service Cloud (OSvC) including Custom Object Creation and Deployment, Workspace/Workflow Development, Business and Workspace Rules Development, Configuring the Data Import Wizard, and experience with developing in a Multi-Site Environment.

• 36 Months of experience integrating third party software with Oracle Service Cloud (OSvC)
• Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or other related degree.
• OPA Implementation Specialist version 12 Certification.
