What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Tester position at V Group Inc.?
The QA Tester/Analyst will drive the overall QA planning/tracking and reporting for project(s), as well as execution of test lifecycle deliverables per standard methodology and procedures to ensure successful Test Strategy/plan implementation for the Client.
Required/Desired/Highly desired Skills:
- At least Three (3) years of experience with testing in software development projects. (Required 3 Years)
- Mid-scale or large-scale system development projects (i.e., test automation) test strategy, developing and executing test scripts and test plans. (Required 3 Years)
- Experience with GitHub, ServiceNow, TFS, JIRA (Required 3 Years)
- Able to review and analyze system specifications (e.g. System Requirements, Business Requirements, Design Documents, etc.) (Required 3 Years).
- Experience in STLC concepts and best practices.
- Experience in running tests for application functions.
- Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with defect management tools (TFS / JIRA)
- Preferred to have experience with public sector.
- International Software Testing Qualifications Board (Preferred)
- Certified Test Engineer (CSTE) (Preferred)
- Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST) (Preferred)
