Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers, diagnosing vehicle issues, and providing recommendations for repairs. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service while also contributing to the overall success of our repair shop.

Duties:

- Diagnose vehicle issues using automotive diagnostics and communicate with customers to identify the problem.
- Provide detailed explanations of the repair process and estimate the cost of the repairs.
- Develop a rapport with customers and maintain a professional demeanor to build trust and loyalty.
- Utilize up-selling techniques to recommend additional services or repairs that may be beneficial to the customer.
- Manage the repair process, ensuring that all repairs are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure that all necessary repairs are performed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, including parts and labor costs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being responsive to customer needs and concerns.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications
- Customer service experience in an automotive setting
- Proven ability in service writing and upselling
- Familiarity with dealership operations and service management
- Strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair
- Certification or training in automotive service is a plus

Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
