Parts Purchasing Agent
Will support the Shop Department. Follow direction of Shop Super foreman to ensure the shop and main office is properly supported. Contribute to the Team effort for success by working wherever they are needed when they are available.

Responsibilities

• Able to service, clean, and restock main building and shop area.
• Check and Order Stock, puts away stock and keep it organized
• Order equipment parts when needed and maintain parts in the store room.
• Order parts for mechanics in shop & out in the field.
• Communicate with foreman to stay up to date with ordering parts
• Plan parts runs and deliveries accordingly with parts runner
• Communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co–workers or foreman, supervisors with other duties as required.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and / or MSHA.

Requirements

· Must be able to work long hours

· Excellent communication skills

· Phone etiquette skills

· Must be able to work in different climate conditions

Knowledge

· Must have knowledge of Construction Equipment & large over the road truck parts

· Familiar with San Antonio & surrounding areas for parts pick up & deliveries

· Must have computer skills

· Shop Super foreman

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Construction Purchasing: 2 years (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)
• Purchasing: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• San Antonio, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
