PURPOSE : To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.
JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for the correct sorting of linen that has been placed on a moving conveyor belt in front of them. Picks up soil linen and places it in the corresponding sling / cart. Follows standard operating procedures. Must meet quality and production standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Be on time
- Have excellent attendance
- Meet established production standards
- Follow all company safety rules
- Be able to work well with a diverse workforce
- Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Possess and maintain a positive attitude
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies
- Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise
- Perform any other duties as supervisor / manager sees fit
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Skills / Experience :
4am-230pm 1st shift Soil Sorter. 10 hr shifts.
MUST BE FLEXIBLE to work Monday-Saturday. Role has rotating days off during the week that will vary week to week.
