Duties : Job Summary : Responsible for preparing validating and analyzing financial information; preparing journal entries; maintaining fixed asset records; reconciling fixed asset and other general ledger account balances on a monthly basis; work closely with other departments to assist with fixed asset and other financial issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Prepare fixed asset account reconciliations investigating and clearing any reconciling items Review fixed asset project and purchase requests for proper accounting treatment and compliance with System s capital policy. Work closely with departments in recognizing asset retirements timely Provide support for internal and external audits Assist in footnote preparation for quarterly / annual financial statements. Perform other responsibilities or assignments as required.
