Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous inspection and testing processes. This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to quality management and assurance, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Analyze data collected from quality audits and inspections, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement effective quality control measures and resolve any quality-related issues.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of quality systems, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and best practices.
- Fabricate samples for testing purposes, ensuring accurate representation of production processes.
- Assist in research data collection related to product performance and quality metrics.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings from quality inspections, audits, and analyses, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Perform handwork duties, including layout, drilling, and cutting of steel.
- Oversee quality control of inbound steel, fabricated parts, and assembled parts.
- Assist with assembly tasks and unloading of products into the yard and holding areas.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of materials and products during all stages of production.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with quality management systems, QA/QC methodologies, and industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and software relevant to quality control processes.
