V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Contract Engineering Associate Mid for our premier client in Burlingame, California.
Education And Experience »
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with end-to-end solutions, solving ambiguous problems.
- Fluency in programming with Python; experience with PANDAS, Numpy and PyTorch.
Highly Preferred Skills
- Experience with health tech, consumer products.
- Experience working with hardware acceleration (e.g., GPU, DSP, ML accelerator, CPU kernel library).
Good To Have
- Prior experience developing models based on input data from sensors typically used on personal-compute devices (accelerometer, gyro, PPG, pressure, microphone, temperature etc).
- Prior experience developing models for low-resource edge devices (Wearables, Mobile devices).

What You’ll Do
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building high performing health devices and systems.
- Gather data from various sources, clean, and prepare for analysis.
- Create and redefine ML algorithms to solve problems.
- Train ML models to use prepared data, conduct experiments, record findings, and evaluate model performance.
- Conduct testing of ML models in various scenarios to perform in different environments.
- Monitor the performance of deployed models, issues, and necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.
- Work closely with XFN partners including data, software & hardware engineers, project managers and other internal and external stakeholders.
