What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at V-Soft Consulting Group, Inc.?
Required Shifts:
**10:30am-7pm M-F rotating weekends 9-5 (With variable start times)
**Required Certifications: KS Tech License
Job Summary:
- Assist the Registered Pharmacist in filling prescriptions and preparing IVs.
- Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data into the computer system for prescription processing and reimbursement.
- Prepackage medications for dispensing according to standards and regulations under the supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
- Help the Pharmacist with final prescription checks, including preparing medications for the Pharmacist's final review and packaging after approval.
- Coordinate the accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers.
- Support Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices, including:
- Receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies.
- Posting lot numbers and expiration dates.
- Assisting with physical inventory checks.
- Work with the Technician Supervisor to maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Ensure equipment is properly calibrated, clean, and safe for use.
