QA Performance Tester - Mid Level (Remote)
Primary Location: Remote
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a QA Performance Tester - Mid Level (Remote) for our premier client.
Education And Experience »
- Graduation from a 4-year college or university with a degree in Computer Science or any related Information Technology concentration.
- Experience with performing software testing with OpenText ALM and UFT: 5 Years.
- Experience with execution of the test cases and test scripts: 5 Years.
- Experience with Defect management and reporting: 5 Years.
- Experience reviewing requirements documentation and design/develop test case coverage for system integration, regression and user acceptance testing.: 5 Years.
- Experience designing Test Plans, execute test cases/scenarios, and develop testing documentation and results reports for applications tested: 5 Years.
Highly Desired
- Experience with VB scripting to create/modify code for test cases: 5 Years.
- Experience with identifying and resolve automation issues and challenges: 5 Years.
- Experience with Automated Testing products such as Tricentis Tosca, Cypress or Selenium, Jira. OpenText ALM and UFT: 5 Years.
What You’ll Do
Job Responsibilities:
- Project testing task include testing activities in collaboration with the application development teams.
- Unit Testing, System Testing, Component Integration, system Integration, Regression, Performance and Disaster Recovery Testing.
- Assists with load, stress, and performance testing required for software applications.
- Duties include reviewing and understanding all business, design, and functional requirements, gathering proper system requirements in order to create suitable performance test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, load test scripts, and test data.
- Setting up performance monitoring.
- Executing bottleneck, baseline, scalability, and breakpoints tests to ensure benchmarks are met.
- Evaluating performance measurements and analysis of test results; and working with other project team members to diagnose performance related problems.
- Position also helps coordinate and ensure that all testing activities and deliverables are on time; and verifies all software applications are thoroughly performance tested and meet performance test goals.
