V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Technical Program Manager III for our premier client in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Education And Experience »
- Smartsheet’s is a plus.
- 10 years of experience and looking for “Program Managers”, not Project.
- Looking for “active” “Program” Managers. Roll up your sleeves type of PM who will engage with Engineers as opposed to a passive PM.
- This is also a “Technical” PM. Dealing with technical issues and need to be savvy with technical issues.
- Not looking for a coder or developer but need to generally understand what Firmware means and things like SIM Cards.
- Need someone with a background in software development management - not IT/Infrastructure/Networking Wi-Fi.
- Not dealing with day-to-day wireless service. This is not a Networking/Wireless PM - it is SW Dev PM with Wireless.
- Experience with wireless service concepts are needed.
- Confluence and Jira are a must.
What You’ll Do
Job Responsibilities:
- App allows subscribers to manage wireless aspects of their service as well as handling new feature development to that service (Call blocking etc).
- Must often corral Product teams and others to review what needs to be done and work in partnership with a Lead to deliver the product as a service.
- Weekly program calls, reporting out status.
- Obtain scheduling for teams on when they can deliver things.
- Help identify risks and issues, once issues are bubbled up, driving with the team to understand what can be done to resolve.
- This is not a Scrum Master role.
