What You’ll Need
Technical Requirements and Certifications »
- Certified by Epic in: Cogito Fundamentals and Access Data Model: 5 Years.
- Highly desired: Cogito Tools Administration Certification.
- Highly desired: A degree in engineering, physics, computer sciences, math, information systems, or statistics.
- Experience with EHR access business intelligence development in Epic using analytics tools: 5 Years
- Health IT business intelligence development experience: 5 Years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking and analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts: 7 Years.
- Ability to understand data structures that could benefit the entire data environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Job Responsibilities:
- Write SQL and configure Radar settings for custom SQL metrics.
- Create content to display Epic data from Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle.
- Configure and test Epic-released and Foundation System content for all applications, including Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer data models, Radar dashboards, Cogito SQL.
- Modify existing reports as necessary.
- Review peer reports for validity.
- Distribute analytics content to data consumers.
- Work with subject matter experts to understand the needs of data consumers.
