Job Overview:
We are currently hiring for a Tooling Technician position in our premier client's facility in Dodge Center, MN. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, communicating effectively with supervisors and engineers, and performing tasks with attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work required hours and maintain an excellent attendance record
- Support weekends during planned shutdowns and work overtime as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Communicate with supervisor or engineers about missing parts
- Inspire oneself and others to reach goals and perform tasks efficiently
- Support SMS audits and perform jigs preventive maintenance
- Work closely with engineers and adapt to changes driven by new strategies
- Handle heavy lifting and manipulation of parts/equipment weighing up to 80 pounds
- Tolerate constant standing and sitting while performing tasks
Requirements:
- Certified Sr. Welder with at least 5 years of welding experience
- Forklift Certified
- Sr. Welder willing to read on prints to build tools
- Knowledge in metal fabrication and/or technical equipment
