Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest services at our resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless check-in and check-out experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with the check-in process.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using phone systems and hospitality management software.
- Provide information about the resort’s amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
- Assist with billing inquiries and process payments efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or guest relations is preferred, ideally within a hospitality or resort environment.
- Strong phone etiquette skills to manage incoming calls professionally.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding guest services.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Familiarity with hospitality management software is an advantage but not required; training will be provided.
