Duties
- Manage a high volume of incoming calls while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide accurate information regarding products and services to customers.
- Process customer requests, including telemarketing inquiries and account-related issues.
- Handle collections and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
- Perform account reconciliation and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to assist customers in understanding their billing statements.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clarity and empathy.
- Experience in telemarketing or customer service roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with debits, credits, medical billing, and accounts management.
- Knowledge of coding practices related to medical terminology is a plus.
- Proficient in account reconciliation processes.
- Ability to navigate multiple software systems while assisting customers efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
