An Account Executive at V2 Communications acts as the primary core program driver on his / her accounts. Primary areas of focus include media relations, analyst relations, social media, speaking and awards.
In addition to execution against planned activities, you will also be responsible for understanding the industry and competitive landscape for various clients, and translating your understanding into meaningful communications opportunities for your clients to concept pitch ideas, develop speaking abstracts and frame news to generate market traction. You will perform other duties as necessary.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Media relations (feature pitching, editorial calendar opportunities)
- Social media monitoring and program implementation
- Speaking and awards program management
- Manage activities for, and provide guidance to, interns and junior staff
- Provide updates and package account team results for clients
To be considered for this job, you must have Bachelors Degree in marketing / communications or a related field and at least two years' experience in tech and / or an agency setting. This is a hybrid position based in our Boston office.
