Job Description :
- Demonstrated effective writing and documentation skills.
- Skill in SQL Server database administration
- Skill in working in Windows operating systems
- Skill as a SQL developer
- Skill in creating stored procedures
- Skill in supporting SQL Server data replication and validation
- Skill with SQL Server software installation, patching, and upgrading.
- Ability to work independently and to resolve complex issues
- Ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex problems pertaining to server and data infrastructure
- Ability to write T- SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Database Triggers
- Ability to Tune SQL and T-SQL queries for performance
- Operational support skills, including experience with system installations, migrations and Upgrades
- Knowledge of Windows scripting
- Skill in logical database design and data models
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle process
- Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service
- Ability to maintain currency on tools, methodologies, and technologies related to data administration
- Knowledge of data privacy and protection initiatives
- Strong interpersonal skills to resolve problems in a professional manner
- Ability to effectively communicate technical data processing information verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of SQL Server backup / recovery technologies and processes
- Knowledge of SQL Server Replication practices and processes
- Knowledge of SQL Server Clusters and Failover methodologies
