Overview
The Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) Support prepares documentation and verifies information to correct inaccuracies of dimensional discrepancies and accurate pallet counts for shipments. Duties include synchronizing with Government Logistics Management Specialists to verify all material is included in each shipment. Additionally, the LMS Support coordinates closely with the Operations cell and Hazmat team while planned shipment packets are in process. Additional duties include maintaining and dispersing the Global Priority Shipment (GPS) spreadsheet, conducting daily GPS conference calls, and sending / tracking SCO Surveys.
Responsibilities
Prepares documentation and verifies information to correct inaccuracies of dimensional discrepancies and accurate pallet counts for shipments
Synchronizes with Government Logistics Management Specialists to verify all material is included in each shipment
Coordinates with Operations cell and Hazmat team while planned shipment packets are in process
Maintains and disperses the Global Priority Shipment (GPS) spreadsheet
Sends out and compiles responses to SCO Surveys following shipment delivery
Executes special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Education / Certifications : One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education if a degree is required.
A bachelor’s degree
