The Senior Instructor / Instructional Design creates training courseware and delivers training on all aspects of Advantor products, policies, and protocols to field and office employees through a combination of lecture, hands-on exercises, training guides, and reference materials.
An active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance is required for this position.

5 years’ experience in a technical training role with software and networking technologiesExpert level of technical competence and hands-on experienceA working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of software including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.Working experience in instructional design for 5 yearsIn-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design modelsLesson and curriculum planning skillsAbility to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scriptsMust possess a high degree of self-reliance, initiative, and creativity.Must work well under pressure and work flexible hours as required.Must be able to work unsupervised in a team environment.Familiarity with Cisco Networking and Closed Security NetworksExperience / Skills :
Provides training on all Advantor Intrusion Detection Software and HardwareProvides training on all Advantor Access Control Software and HardwareProvides training on all Advantor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Hardware and SoftwareProvides training on Advantor Video Management Hardware and SoftwareProvides training on Advantor Employee Security policies and proceduresWorks with Human Resources to create and implement new hire onboarding experienceDevelops and provides training on Designing, Installing, Maintaining closed security networksCreate engaging learning activities and compelling course content for both classroom and distance trainingWork with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needsSet instructional end goals and create content that matches themAnalyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional designProvide exercises and activities that enhance the learning processCreate supporting material / media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the coursePerforms other duties as assignedWe are committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace that values and supports the contributions of each individual.
