Position: LPN / LVN- Long Term Care
Location: Utica, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Weekly Gross Pay: $1300- $1400
Schedule: 3*12 Night shifts per week
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled LPN / LVN- Long Term Care to join our team in Utica, NY. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring patients throughout their treatment
- Performing routine checks of patients' vital signs
- Ensuring that patients take their medication
- Assisting doctors and registered nurses
- Liaising with patients' families
- Providing personal care, including bathing and dressing patients
- Monitoring patients' conditions, including their eating habits and bathroom usage
- Administering medications
- Assisting with tests and procedures
- Updating patient charts
- Offering bedside care
- Dressing wounds
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active LPN/LVN license in NY
- Experience in Nursing
- Current BLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with electronic medical records (Epic, Cerner, Meditech preferred)
