Weekly Gross Pay: $1900 - $2000/week
Schedule: 7a-7:30p, On-Call Required & 36 hours/week
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Tech to join our team in Utica, NY.
This role involves providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols.
Responsibilities
- Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries.Sterilizing equipment and instruments.
- Stocking adequate supplies for surgery.
- Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.
- Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.
- Tracking surgical supplies.
- Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.
- Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team.
- Helping provides great patient care
Qualifications
- Must Have Scrub Experience
- Must Have Trauma Experience
- 2 years’ experience required
- Equipment: DiVinci robot
- EMR: Epic
- General, robotic, OR level of care
- Patient population: Pediatric through adult
- Surgical Tech certification, NBSTSA or NCCT (or grandfathered based on experience)
- BLS required
