Key Responsibilities:
- Power BI Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Utilize advanced analytical capabilities of Power BI to create insightful visualizations.
- Implement data models and DAX calculations to support business reporting needs.
- Data Integration and Management:
- Integrate data from various sources, including SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and other data platforms.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across BI solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Data Migration:
- Lead and participate in data migration projects from SQL Server SSRS to Power BI.
- Develop strategies for efficient data migration and transformation.
- Ensure seamless transition and minimal disruption during migration processes.
- Industry Expertise:
- Apply knowledge and experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries to develop relevant BI solutions.
- Understand industry-specific data requirements and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in Power BI development.
- Proven experience in developing reports, dashboards, and insights using Power BI.
- Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Azure.
- Experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries is preferred.
- Experience working on data migration projects from SQL Server SSRS is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, QlikView).
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Kafka).
- Experience with data visualization and UI/UX design best practices.
