Essential Functions:
- Unit Cleaning: Thoroughly clean guest units, including kitchens (countertops, dishes, refrigerators, sinks), tile floors, bathrooms (sinks, showers, tubs, floors), and bedrooms (dusting, windows, vacuuming carpets and stairs).
- Inventory Management: Promptly request replacements for missing items in units from dispatch.
- Outdoor Maintenance: Sweep entrances, shake door mats, wipe down and properly position patio furniture, and sweep patio areas.
- Staging: Ensure units are ready for occupancy with curtains and amenities properly placed.
- Inspection: Check your work before leaving each unit, ensuring mirrors and sinks are spotless, carpets are debris-free, and the room smells fresh.
- Reporting: Immediately report maintenance issues or damage to furniture and any other concerns you cannot resolve.
- Energy Conservation: Turn off all lights and set A/C to appropriate vacant temperature upon completion of cleaning.
- Cart Maintenance: Keep your housekeeping cart clean and organized, removing garbage at the end of each shift.
- Laundry: Knowledge of commercial laundry equipment. Keep track of inventory for commercial laundry services, needs, and support when unit occupancy requires it.
- Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with other team members to achieve department goals.
- Chemical Safety: Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment daily.
- Safety Practices: Follow all safety procedures and report any unsafe incidents or conditions to the supervisor.
- Guest Interaction: Provide professional and courteous customer service to all guests, ensuring their satisfaction with the cleanliness of their unit during midweek cleans or refresh services.
- Other Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Education/Experience: Previous cleaning experience and knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
- Skills: Good communication skills; ability to use and operate a vacuum cleaner, push a maid cart, and handle cleaning tools and chemicals. Must be able to read chemical labels and resort policies.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, pull, and/or push up to 40 lbs, and perform tasks that require standing, walking, crouching, stooping, kneeling, repetitive hand/wrist motions, reaching, bending, seeing, recognizing, distinguishing, conveying information, and conversing with staff and guests consistently.
