Pool and Spa Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of pools, spas, and related systems (filters, pumps, heaters, chlorinators, etc.)

• Test water chemistry and adjust chemical levels (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.) to maintain proper balance

• Clean pools and spas including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and backwashing filters

• Diagnose and repair pool and spa equipment and plumbing issues

• Monitor and document service reports, repairs, chemical usage, and maintenance logs

• Ensure all pool and spa areas comply with local and state health codes

• Communicate with property managers and residents regarding pool/spa conditions, scheduled services, and any needed repairs

• Maintain inventory of chemicals, parts, and supplies

• Identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs
