The Business Development Specialist (BD) will drive growth at a vacation rental management company in Navarre Beach by acquiring new properties, building relationships, negotiating contracts, and identifying new opportunities for growth. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a strong drive to pursue and close new leads, explore innovative strategies, and respond quickly to emerging opportunities. The business development specialist role offers a very competitive base salary with the potential to earn $200,000 annually, including performance-based commissions.

  • Proactively identify and sign-up new properties for management, meet with potential clients, negotiate contracts, and report to the General Manager and the Director of Business Development (DBD).
  • Research markets for new leads, reach out via phone, email, social media, and in-person meetings. Attend networking events, and leverage referrals.
  • Prepare sales presentations, develop revenue projections, negotiate contracts, and meet sales goals. Support team members with training and communication.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, ensure high service quality, and address concerns. Solicit referrals and engage with clients through networking events.
  • Assist in forecasting personnel, marketing, and technology needs for the department. Help streamline processes to accommodate growth while maintaining profitability.
  • Assist in managing schedules and relationships, promoting company values, and ensuring effective communication across departments.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Proven 10 years of sales experience with a focus on lead generation and closing deals.
  • 10 years’ experience with CRM software and the real estate industry.

Schedule:

  • This position has a hybrid work arrangement which combines remote work and in office attendance at the assigned shop in Navarre, Florida.
  • This role requires frequent phone communication and availability to work weekends and after-hours as needed to support sales activities.
