Vacation Village Resorts at Grandview is seeking highly motivated marketers to join our team. This position provides hourly training pay for the first two weeks, then hourly plus commissions. Average target annual salary is up to $70K including commissions.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Secure presentation appointments for our existing and potential customers, while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
- Promote the Vacation Village Resorts brand while connecting families with information and resources to enhance their vacation experience.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Must be comfortable with face-to-face interaction.
- Must be motivated, outgoing, friendly, tactful and well organized.
- Must be able to demonstrate prompt, reliable and motivational demeanor at all times.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude must be maintained.
- Knowledge in computer software such as Microsoft®, Excel® and Word® and general computer applications is preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and extended hours.
- Excellent verbal communication, active listening and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on a team as well as individually.
Desired Requirements
- Prior timeshare, resort or concierge experience a plus but not required (top level training pay and support provided).
- Bi-lingual a plus, but not required.
- One year of marketing experience preferred.
