We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance user experience and meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development technologies and a passion for creating responsive and user-friendly web applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, documents, creates, tests, and modifies programming systems making specific determinations about system performance.
- Analyzes system specifications and translates system requirements to task specifications for junior programmers.
- Writes, edits, and debugs new computer programs for assigned projects, including necessary records and desired output.
- Tests new programs to ensure that logic and syntax are correct, and that program results are accurate.
- Assists lower-level programmers with programming assignments.
- Refines data and formats final product.
- Maintains and modifies programs; makes approved changes by amending flow charts, develops detailed programming logic, and coding changes.
- Evaluates interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.
- Confers with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs.
- Resolves questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
- Reviews programming documentation.
- Maintains confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
- Performs other projects / duties as assigned.
