While prior produce stocking experience is preferred, it is not required, will provide training.
A typical day in this position starts at anywhere from 6a.m. - 10 a.m., cleaning and straightening all the fruits and veggies on display, making sure they meet our freshness standards. Any items that don't are accounted for and donated or disposed of. Stocking is the bulk of the day, lifting up to 40 lbs is required, as is bending, kneeling. lifting, twisting and walking throughout an 8 hour day with standard breaks.
Attention to detail is a must, as is being self-motivated with attention to detail. Cleaning as you go is key, and excellent customer service is paramount.

Summary
As a Produce Clerk, you will be essential in maintaining the quality and presentation of fresh produce in our grocery store. Your core skills in stocking, merchandising, and customer service will ensure that our produce section is well-organized and appealing to customers. You will also handle packaging and assist with shipping and receiving tasks. With premium skills in inventory management and experience with RF scanners, you will help manage stock levels effectively. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers in a fast-paced environment.
