Description / Key Responsibilities:
The individual hired for this position will be working in Santa Rosa Beach, FL out of the two Bay Baits storefront locations. This employee will work closely with the Bay Baits Manager and Store Associates to ensure smooth operations on a daily basis during the peak summer months. Their duties include inventory management, daily upkeep of each storefront, and guest relations with anyone entering Bay Baits. This employee will need to have saltwater fishing experience and be able to lift heavy objects.
Duties -
- Coordinate with the Bay Baits Manager and other storefront employees on a daily basis.
- Must be able to lift various heavy objects such as inventory boxes, kayaks, etc.
- Must have saltwater fishing experience.
- Restock inventory at both storefront locations.
- Give customers advice and answer any questions they have regarding fishing, 30A locations, etc.
- Become familiar with and use the POS system.
- Distribute live bait to customers.
- Clean bait tank filters daily.
- Clean dead bait from tanks throughout each day.
- Deliver kayaks and other equipment when needed.
- Other responsibilities involve the operation of a bait and tackle shop.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable source of transportation to and from work.
