What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Coordinator position at Vacayzen?
Overview
The Logistics Coordinator's primary role is to carry out all logistic obligations including daily operations, and next-day route building and planning for all departments (B2B,B2C, &LSV). The employee will own all logistics functions and will assign drivers by creating routes to ensure all day-to-day operations are completed efficiently. The Logistics Coordinator will work with logistics supervisors and the logistics manager who are all responsible for the following duties:
Duties
- Use Integrasoft to build, map, monitor, and release routes. Rescheduling stars and adding fixes
- Monitor active routes and review completed routes of the department you are assigned to (B2B, B2C OR LSV)
- Solving issues that accrue on routes
- Become knowledgeable about the vehicles and their load capacity. Effectively getting their full operating use.
- Monitor Vehicles and Route times with a vehicle tracking system.
- Become familiar with all rental equipment.
- Become familiar with our delivery area. Effectively use storefront locations as logistics hubs to
- Assist B2B, B2C, & LSV with ensuring trucks are equipped with what drivers need for routes
- Assign drivers to routes, vehicles, and delivery areas.
- Ensure our customers receive quality service, and equipment in a timely manner.
- Understanding route issues, including common obstacles and effective solution
- Use partner website to gain occupancy to create a report to upload into integra for routes
- Manage email & internal team communication between departments. This includes pulling occupancy reports for B2B and golf cart checks and staying current on emails regarding occupancy changes
- Assist Logistics Manager and GMs with inventory management to include any products provided for our partners, tracking via technology or visual inventory controls (license plates)
- Work with office team on golf cart citations
- Tracks location of carts & updates cart info accordingly
- Sending golf cart codes to customers following deliveries depending on if waiver is completed
- Organize/schedule golf cart tag renewals
- In downtime assist B2B, B2C,& golf cart with projects. This includes scheduling tunes for routes, swaps, etc., and assisting with tunes on equipment
- Review and dispute route errors/auditing routes per department each pay period
- Take inbound calls from drivers on routes

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
