Responsibilities

- Prepare patients for treatments and procedures by taking medical histories and vital signs.
- Perform X-rays and other diagnostic imaging as needed, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to safety protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Support pediatric dentistry procedures with patience and understanding.
- Assist in managing inventory of dental supplies and materials.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of dental imaging techniques, including X-Ray and 3D scanning, is an asset.
- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
