Accounting Supervisor

Accounting Supervisor (On-Site) - Duluth, GA
Location: Duluth, GA
Schedule: On-site, Monday-Friday (5x a week)

Vaco is currently partnering with a reputable organization in Duluth, GA that is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations. This role requires a strong background in General Ledger (GL) Accounting, experience supervising 3 employees, and proficiency in NetSuite ERP. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in AP/AR operations, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and support the finance team in optimizing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a team of 3 accounting professionals, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
• Oversee GL Accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Utilize NetSuite ERP to manage financial transactions, reporting, and system improvements.
• Assist in audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Develop and implement best practices for reporting in NetSuite.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
• 5 years of GL accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role at a $100 MM organization (must have)
• NetSuite ERP (must have)
• MS Excel - Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, formulas, sum-if statements (must have)
