Assistant Controller

Job: Assistant Controller
Location: Birmingham, AL - Onsite
Compensation: $85,000-$100,000 dependent upon experience

Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process
• Lead financial reporting process
• Oversee day to day of the accounting operations team
• Participate in budget process and analyze results/variances as appropriate.
• Identifies continuous improvement opportunities
• Coordinate with external auditor
  

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years accounting experience
• Accounting degree required
