Duties
- Analyze and optimize HRIS architecture to enhance system performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with HR teams to gather requirements and implement system changes or upgrades.
- Develop and maintain scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices in information security.
- Provide technical support for HRIS users, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Create documentation for system processes, user guides, and training materials.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends related to HR technology and systems.
- Proficient in system architecture, in particular Workday, with a strong understanding of operating systems.
- Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, web services, and solution architecture within Workday.
- Knowledge of XML for data interchange between systems.
- Strong scripting skills to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
- Familiarity with information security protocols to protect sensitive HR data.
- Proficiency in shell scripting and ETL processes for data integration tasks.
- Familiarity with MySQL/NoSQL databases for data management purposes.
- Ability to vaticinate potential challenges in HRIS management and propose proactive solutions.
- Knowledge of JavaScript is a plus for customization tasks within the Workday platform.
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Workday Pro accreditation is recommended.
