Job Summary
The Senior HRIS Analyst plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to ensure efficient HR operations. This position involves analyzing system architecture, implementing enhancements, and providing support for HR-related data management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT and information security, with expertise in scripting and ETL processes to streamline data workflows.

Duties

• Analyze and optimize HRIS architecture to enhance system performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with HR teams to gather requirements and implement system changes or upgrades.
• Develop and maintain scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices in information security.
• Provide technical support for HRIS users, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Create documentation for system processes, user guides, and training materials.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends related to HR technology and systems.

Skills

• Proficient in system architecture, in particular Workday, with a strong understanding of operating systems.
• Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, web services, and solution architecture within Workday.
• Knowledge of XML for data interchange between systems.
• Strong scripting skills to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
• Familiarity with information security protocols to protect sensitive HR data.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and ETL processes for data integration tasks.
• Familiarity with MySQL/NoSQL databases for data management purposes.
• Ability to vaticinate potential challenges in HRIS management and propose proactive solutions.
• Knowledge of JavaScript is a plus for customization tasks within the Workday platform.
• Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Workday Pro accreditation is recommended.
