We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Coder to join our healthcare team. The Medical Coder will be responsible for reviewing clinical documentation and assigning appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS classification systems. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate medical billing and compliance with regulatory and insurance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Review and analyze medical records and documentation to assign accurate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services.
• 
  Translate healthcare provider documentation into standardized codes.
• 
  Ensure codes are used correctly during the medical billing process, including for insurance reimbursement.
• 
  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and insurance regulations (including Medicare and Medicaid).
• 
  Work closely with physicians, billing teams, and other healthcare staff to clarify documentation and coding issues.
• 
  Conduct audits and reviews to ensure coding accuracy and compliance with internal and external guidelines.
• 
  Assist in resolving coding-related denials and rejections from payers.
• 
  Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
