What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Vaco by Highspring?
- Participate in and back up all AP, inventory and tax processes, including month-end and year-end closing
- Manage fixed asset, lease agreement, vehicle and credit card programs
- Reconcile billable, prepaid, accrued purchase and inventory accounts
- Identify, research, and resolve ERP system issues and discrepancies
- Provide support to and collaborate with corporate and franchise administrative and operations teams to ensure accurate and complete ERP system processing
- Execute special projects for management including ERP data cleanse and migration
- Participate in annual and interim audits
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required, manufacturing experience preferred
- Working knowledge of accrual accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and apply concepts to different related areas of work
- Highly motivated and can work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco notes the salary range for the role as follows: 70-78,000/yr .The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
