What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Vaco by Highspring?
Vaco is working with an industry-leading manufacturing company near Wilmington that is looking for a Senior Accountant with 4 or more years of corporate general ledger accounting experience. They are looking for someone with strong day to day accounting skills and an interest in performing things like accruals, prepaids, reconciliations, posting journal entries, and adjusting journal entries. There will be a lot of involvement with month end close duties like journal entries, bank and account reconciliations, and adjusting entries. We are also looking for people who have experience with manufacturing accounting concepts and maybe some cost accounting too. Variance analysis skills will be helpful and strong Excel skills are a must. A background in cost accounting would be highly beneficial, both standard cost and job costing experience within a manufacturing or pharma environment.
