What You'll Do:
- Own the Cost Data:You will be the mastermind behind the numbers, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of cost data that drives strategic decisions.
- Month-End Close:Skillfully manage month-end procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring a seamless financial close.
- Drive Efficiency:Analyze cost variances, identify process improvements, and collaborate with teams to enhance material flow and minimize roadblocks.
- Inventory Management:Take charge of inventory counts and adjustments, ensuring meticulous tracking and valuation at our Atlanta facility.
- Collaborate for Success:Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, and other teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Who You Are:
- Educated and Experienced:You hold a Bachelor's degree and bring 1 years of cost accounting expertise, coupled with 3 years of professional experience.
- Government Contracting Savvy:You have a solid understanding of Cost Accounting Standards and the nuances of accounting for government contracting.
- Communicator:Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate complex financial data to stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-Oriented:You're not intimidated by the details and can distill them into actionable insights for management.
- Dynamic:You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable with ambiguity, and take pride in driving the business forward.

- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
