About the Role:
We're looking for a boots-on-the-ground leader to oversee active construction sites from start to finish. This role is for someone who thrives in the chaos of a jobsite, can juggle multiple moving parts, and brings calm, clarity, and confidence to teams in the field. You'll be at the center of the action-managing daily operations, coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, and driving progress with precision and urgency.
Drive the Build:
Translate project schedules into daily execution, aligning crews and subcontractors to stay on pace. Manage short-term plans and ensure tasks are completed on time and with full team buy-in.Own Site Safety:
Lead by example when it comes to safety-conduct audits, deliver toolbox talks, enforce protocols, and hold everyone on-site accountable to company and industry safety standards.Champion Quality:
Monitor every phase of construction for quality control. Prevent costly rework by ensuring work meets both building codes and client expectations the first time around.Orchestrate Subcontractors:
Serve as the on-site conductor for all trade partners. Ensure scopes are fully understood, expectations are clear, and everyone is aligned on deliverables and timelines. Lead regular field meetings for coordination and accountability.Maintain Jobsite Intelligence:
Keep a running record of site activity through detailed daily logs. Capture weather conditions, manpower counts, material deliveries, issues, and overall progress.Secure and Organize:
Protect materials, tools, and equipment. Oversee delivery logistics, material inspections, and storage setup to keep the site running efficiently and securely.Keep It Clean:
Maintain a clean and orderly site. Reinforce site cleanliness as part of trade accountability-everyone picks up after themselves.Punch and Close:
Run both internal and client-facing punch list processes. Handle minor closeout items personally when it helps hit deadlines or reduce costs.Mentor the Team:
Support the growth of assistant supers, field engineers, and laborers. Offer feedback, guidance, and structure to help junior teammates thrive.Clarify Questions:
Coordinate RFIs with project management and design teams to eliminate blockers and keep crews moving.Monitor Costs:
Work with the PM to support billing cycles, labor tracking, and profitability benchmarks-including costs tied to on-site labor.Lead the Culture:
Be the tone-setter on-site. Build relationships with subs and internal teams and lead with respect, collaboration, and a problem-solving mindset.Adapt to What's Needed:
Flex to meet unexpected needs and tasks as they arise. Be the go-to leader the team can count on.
Field experience running ground-up or renovation construction projects (residential and/or commercial)
Strong leadership presence-able to motivate teams and hold people accountable
A deep understanding of jobsite safety, construction sequencing, and contractor coordination
Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and specs
Comfortable with project tracking software and standard Microsoft Office tools
Physically capable of navigating job sites and performing hands-on tasks when needed
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
