The ideal applicant will possess 5 years' experience working for a regional, local, medium sized firm(s). You will need a strong understanding of tax planning and strategy for small businesses, tax return review experience with individual, corporate, S-corp, partnerships, estates and non-profit. You will work on a great team and enjoy your work alongside people who care about your success.
Responsibilities:
- Review of tax returns, monthly budgets, and legal documentation
- Perform trial balance review and analysis
- Perform cash flow planning and analysis and tax planning and strategy
- Assisting with coordination with clients and client documents
- Assist in the preparation of tax accruals
- Coordinate with client on tax goals
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- A minimum of 5 years of tax or audit experience
- Must be an independent worker, self-starter
- CPA preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Leadership skills
- Strong in Excel and ability to learn new technologies
- Detail oriented with solid analytical skills
