Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Tester to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure software quality and performance. The ideal candidate has experience with automation frameworks, scripting languages, and testing methodologies, helping to streamline the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects in collaboration with developers and product teams.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and load testing to ensure software quality.
- Develop and implement test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
- Work closely with developers to ensure test coverage in CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and suggest improvements.
- Ensure compliance with software quality standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in automation testing.
- Proficiency in automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit).
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- ISTQB Certification is a plus.
