Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain modular event-driven data integrations using AWS cloud services and modern data pipeline frameworks.
- Collaborate with analysts and architects to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, automated data solutions.
- Develop robust unit testing, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing strategies to ensure data reliability and scalability.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD processes for validating, testing, and deploying data integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain deployed data integrations, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Present and demo data solutions to stakeholders in bi-weekly sprint reviews, fostering transparency and collaboration.
- Contribute to DevOps best practices, ensuring compliance with release management and CI/CD pipeline standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience with AWS cloud services (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Kinesis, S3, RDS, Glue, CloudFormation, etc.) or equivalent Azure/Google Cloud Platform services.
- Strong Python development skills for building scalable data solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL and using APIs for data automation.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, pub/sub messaging, and ETL pipeline patterns.
- Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and performance testing in software development.
- Knowledge of DevOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in agile, remote teams.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
- Ability to pass a required background check.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in education or ed-tech industries.
- Hands-on experience with data streaming, data integration, and batch processing architectures.
- Knowledge of various data storage types (relational databases, object storage, graph databases, data warehouses).
- Experience with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehousing solutions.
- AWS or Azure cloud certifications.
