Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to support business decision-making.
- Write DAX queries and Power Query (M language) to perform advanced calculations and data transformations.
- Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures for efficient data retrieval and storage.
- Ensure Power BI security best practices by implementing row-level security (RLS), role-based access control (RBAC), and other security measures.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Perform data validation and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Optimize Power BI reports for performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features, updates, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in Power BI development, including building dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M Language) for data manipulation and calculations.
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and experience in integrating data from multiple sources.
- Hands-on experience in SQL development, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Understanding of Power BI security, including Row-Level Security (RLS), workspace permissions, and data governance.
