As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for industrial refrigeration applications. This role involves programming, testing, and commissioning of PLCs, HMIs, and other control system components.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for industrial refrigeration applications.
- Program and test control systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Commission and integrate control systems with existing equipment and infrastructure.
- Maintain and troubleshoot control systems to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Develop and implement control solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in control systems engineering.
- Experience with PLC programming languages such as Allen Bradley, GE, Opto 22, FactoryTalk, or Wonderware.
- Strong understanding of communication protocols such as TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, Profaned, and Ethernet/IP.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
